DESIGN AND PROTOTYPING OF POWER SYSTEMS, ELECTRONIC BOARD PRODUCTION

Microidea S.r.l. was founded in 1975 with the aim of providing a qualified assembly service for electronic components. From the early years, the company established itself and developed important collaborative relationships with companies in the industrial, biomedical and military sectors.

In the following years, the company expanded its business area by creating the design and development division for innovative products for third parties. Towards the mid-1980s, the division allowed the company to produce Microidea-branded products with applications in the most varied industrial sectors (biomedical to military).

In the 1990s, the “Design and Development” division was further strengthened by offering custom service: the company can now guarantee a total customization of its products based on customer needs. From the 2000s onwards, Microidea began producing a line of products for low-voltage industrial automation under its own brand.

Since 2008, Microidea has started collaborating with the American company Richardson RFPD and entered the world of POWER as a supplier of services for the study, prototyping, and production of products related to this environment.

Today (2025), it has 18 people and 5000 square meters of production area.
