Kilometro Rosso Innovation District is one of the leading private hubs for innovation in Europe. It is a place where business and research converge in order to foster technology transfer. Today the campus hosts more than 50 Resident Partners – companies, laboratories and research centers – with a total of 1.600 professionals.

Inaugurated in 2009, Kilometro Rosso and its Resident Partners represents a point of reference in the international research and technology transfer scene.

Kilometro Rosso stretches parallel to Autostrada A4, the most important highway in Northern Italy, and is located near 3 international airports and an extensive rail network.

Intellimech has another location and its own showroom inside the Polo per l’Innovazione Tecnologica (POINT) in Dalmine. POINT is a system of organizations (industrial, scientific, technological, academic and business services) established to foster the economic and socio-cultural development of the local territory.

POINT acts as a link between the business world and the research world. It hosts agencies, labs and research centers which are active in some of the most innovative branches of chemistry, geology, materials science, planning, ICT, etc.

Within POINT facilities, Bergamo Sviluppo has been setting up technology outreach events in order to create favorable conditions for the spread, development and establishment of innovation in the territory.
